Students are REWARDED for being:

Respectful

• Listen to and follow the teacher's directions quickly and without complaint.

• Wait your turn to speak, and avoid side/off topic conversations during a lesson.

• Handle all supplies and materials with care, and for their intended purposes ONLY (Waste not, want not).

Responsible

• Be in your seat when the bell rings and stay on task.

• Turn in your work ON TIME.

• Come to class prepared to learn (all your materials are with you, your pencil is sharp, etc.)

• Handle the computers according to the acceptable use policy and reporting any and all misuse or damage immediately (remember that if you don't, YOU are responsible and will face the consequences of your actions/inactions)

Safe

• Keep BACKPACKS on the back of your chair, or under your desk. They must be out of the AISLE at all times. They CANNOT be kept on your back or on your lap.

• Keep your table clean.

• When laptops are out - No food, drinks, gum, or edible items, PERIOD! When laptops are away, water is OK (with a closable top)

• Keep hands and feet and OBJECTS to yourself at all times.

• Abide by the acceptable use policy for computer use, both inside and outside of the classroom.
